Kimberly Korf, AIF®, BFA™

Kimberly Korf is the Founder of Kimberly Korf Wealth Design & Insurance Services.  She started in the financial services industry over 21 years ago. For 15 of those years, she was responsible for managing, supervising and training other financial professionals across the country. Along the way, she attained the following designations: Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA™). Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento with an emphasis in Strategic Management.

As a wealth coach, Kimberly believes that people are more educated today than ever before and that when given the correct information and support, they will make good choices. She understands that clients can sometimes make financial decisions based on emotions, rather than the facts. This can be harmful to long-term investment goals. To this end, Kimberly works with clients to understand what’s important to them personally and financially, then helps implement a personalized financial strategy based on each client’s unique circumstances and values. Kimberly believes the significance she brings to the equation is wisdom, compassion and a very personalized approach. She believes clients sometimes need a coach in their corner to help keep them on the right track.

Kimberly understands that investing is not just about the finances. It’s an emotional relationship encompassing client’s financial goals and their personal situation.  Kimberly and her team focus on providing financial education and guidance to help clients make the best financial decisions both now and in the future. They are dedicated to providing excellence in client service and cultivating relationships that last for clients’ lifetimes and into future generations.

In her free time, Kimberly likes to let her artistic side out. She creates greeting cards & positive affirmations pieces for a local gift shop, family and friends.  She is a lover of old rusty metal and thoroughly enjoys welding it together to create interesting art pieces. She likes to read, swim, spend time at the ocean, or in the forest.  

She and her husband have three daughters and one amazing granddaughter. They live in the Sierra Nevada Foothills surrounded by lots of trees, fresh air and quiet.
